Away we go!

The travel monkey made it through security just fine. We leave for Rome via Chicago in about two hours, and per our usual tendencies we ended up at the airport well in advance, despite all the warnings about wait times getting through security. Looking forward to seeing Rome for the first time, trying to learn some basic Italian just in case. We land in Rome at 9am local time, so hopefully we can catch some sleep on the way over. It’ll be a long day either way, but we’re looking forward to it!
